Love Island's Jacques O'Neill has sensationally decided to quit the villa - and fans are sure they've worked out exactly why.
The rugby player has left the ITV2 show, with his reason set to be broadcasted during the programme tonight, but fans are already convinced they've rumbled why he decided to exit the programme - and they involve Paige Thorne and Adam Collard.
Jacques has been coupled up with Paige for a few weeks now, but Casa Amor proved a huge test for their relationship. Whilst paramedic Paige remained loyal, Jacques cracked on, insisting it would be the best way to tell him if Paige was really what he wanted.
Now fans are sure they've rumbled one of two reasons why - and the first is that bombshell Adam Collard, who arrived in the villa yesterday and set his sights on Paige, has effectively "chased him out".
"Adam really chased Jacques out the Villa tears, not even 24 hrs since Adam arrived #LoveIsland," one fan penned online, as another added: "Adam really rattled Jacques enough to leave uno #LoveIsland."
A third shared: "Jacques left, Adam really got under his skin #LoveIsland," whilst a fourth joked that Adam had done exactly what was intended of him: "So Jacques has left the villa? Adam gets shit done! What a great bombshell #LoveIsland."
"Jacques probably couldnt be arsed to watch Paige crack on with another lad in front of his face #LoveIsland," a fifth said.
Others believe Jacques alluded to the possibility of leaving the show when he said he only wants Paige.
A fan theorised on Twitter : "So Jacques was speaking the truth when he said he only wants Paige and he will be done if she says so. Idk about you all but I think he was much better than Adam #LoveIsland."
"My guess is that Paige has chosen Adam - Jacques made it clear if she didn’t want him he would leave! If this is what happened for me it shows Paige is in there for the wrong reasons and it’s always been about the fame for her. I hope Jacques is supported #LoveIsland," a second added, with a third writing: "Paige is excited that Adam has come in but he’s not 100% going for her. Jacques has left cause all he wants is Paige. As soon as all this Adam shit dies down she will regret it. #loveisland."
A fourth concluded: "Jacques really liked Paige and was being better. He left because he couldn't watch what he had just lost."
Jacques will reveal his exact reason for leaving the show on tonight's episode.
