Love Island fans stunned as they suspect Tasha and Andrew 'have had sex' week into show

Things got hot and steamy on Tuesday night's episode of Love Island, as Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page became the first couple to spend a night in the hideaway.

Despite the blonde beauty claiming she and the hunky estate agent didn't go all the way when chatting to the girls the next day, many fans suspected that wasn't the case prior to her denial.

The visit to the private room also prompted the Islanders the reveal this year's new codewords for sexual acts and 'doing bits' - with viewers watching at home cringing at the post-hideaway chat about 'manicures' being given in the private room.

Speaking in the Beach Hut prior to visiting the hideaway, Tasha said: "Today I’ve seen such a different side to Andew, he’s just being so much more spicy, he’s being flirty, I don’t know, something in him is giving me more oomph, this is what I’ve been waiting for, this sexy Andrew!"

She certainly got to see more of "sexy Andrew" later on in the episode, as she and the Dubai-based property guru got some alone time as they became the first pair of the series to visit the Villa’s famous love nest.

"ITV really has these sex scenes archived somewhere. Imagine editing that LOOOOL #LoveIsland," one viewer mused on Twitter as their evening in the hideaway was broadcast on ITV2.

"they deffo did the sex #loveisland," another suspected, with a third penning: "i wouldn't look at my parents again if I had sex on live TV cause what!? #LoveIsland."

One viewer captioned a shocked gif with: "sex on national television?"

However, Tasha set the record straight later on - telling the girls she only gave Andrew "a manicure".

"Just realised we’re gonna have to learn two new sets of embarrassing metaphors for sex #LoveIsland," one Love Island viewer moaned after the reality TV's admission.

"Why do they make the islanders come up with analogies for sex every season. It's cheesy and forced now," another agreed.

"Do they tell the islanders every year to come up with some stupid analogy for sex? Now we’ve got to hear about “telescopes” and “astrology” for the next 6 weeks," one unimpressed viewer took to Twitter to state on Tuesday.

In previous series of Love Island, couples have discussed intimate acts as "doing bits" and used football and education analogies as a way of discussing exactly what sexual acts they have indulged in.

Last year's female contestants even hosted a "graduation ceremony" for the ladies who had 'completed their studies' and gone all the way with their beau in the bedroom.

* Love Island, tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
