Love Island fans have been left stunned after the revelation that champion Davide Sanclimenti has an electric shisa business which provides hookah products to restaurants and nightclubs.
Davide, who was crowned the winner of the 2022 series with other half Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu last night, has never really spoken on air about his occupation or how much he earns.
Davide's company 'S Deluxe Shisha' provides electronic devices from 'the best manufacturers in the world’ and offers catering services to venues across Manchester, as writes the Mirror.
A mission statement on the company's website reads: "S Deluxe Shisha is a premium service offered in some of the most exclusive hospitality venues located in North West, England.
"We have partnership with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes. We offer catering-service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French made e-liquids. High quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market."
Davide's LinkedIn profile states that he has a masters degree in finance and banking.
Fans took to Twitter to discuss his profession, with one commenting: "Davide owning a Shisha business is the last thing I expected."
Another wrote: "I just learnt that Davide is an entrepreneur owning a shisha business. This guy was always meant to have a Turkish wife. I’m convinced they’re soulmates. I can’t get over them two!"
A third pondered: "Davide owns a multimillion shisha company. I don't know if any of these people needed 50k."
And a fourth said: "I can't imagine him doing anything for a living? Like imagine Davide the plumber."
Monday night's instalment saw Davide and Ekin-Su's rollercoaster journey finally completed as they jumped for joy at host Laura Whitmore's news that they had won the coveted £50k cash prize.
The pair saw off competition from second place couple Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and, unlike previous years, they were not forced to choose whether to split the money or keep it.
The final of Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm on Monday August 1.
