Love Island fans threatened to boycott the show - after they were left on an "obvious" cliffhanger.
During this evening's episodes, viewers watched on as the Islanders partied hard with DJ Joel Corry for a very special VIP party - but it soon came to an abrupt end as the Islanders were joined by the show's host Laura Whitmore.
Host Laura mainly presents the ITV2 programme's spin-off show from the UK, but she does head to the villa in Mallorca for special occasions - including the dramatic Casa Amor recoupling which saw multiple couples break up in a dramatic twist.
Now there is set to be even more drama as Laura joined the Islanders at the special party whilst they wait to find out who's going to be dumped from the villa - and who will move one step closer to being the show's winners and bagging the huge cash prize.
As Laura arrived, she told the group: "Hello Islanders, how are you all doing? Having a good time? I am not here to join in on the fun sadly and I am afraid the party is over, could you all please line up by the pool."
She revealed to the Islanders that the public had been voting for their favourite boy and girl, and the two boys and two girls who had received the least votes would be at risk of leaving that night.
Danica Taylor and Summer Botwe were the two girls at risk of leaving, whilst Billy Brown and Dami Hope were the boys at risk of going home. Only one boy and one girl will leave.
However, fans were left fuming when they were told they had to wait for the result - with the dumping taking place tomorrow night instead - despite them already "knowing" who would go.
"everyday cliffhanger that’s not cute #LoveIsland," one angry fan wrote on Twitter.
A second added: "LOVE ISLAND IVE HAD ENOUGHHHHHHHHHHHH ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER #LoveIsland," as a third shared: "are they mad? what cliffhanger please? bc we all know Summer and Billy are going home #loveisland."
"Why even make that a cliffhanger, obvious summer and billy are goners. #LoveIsland," a fourth frustrated viewer penned.
Love Island has just a couple of weeks left on air, with the final set to air on Monday August 1. Only one couple will win the ITV2 show and have a chance to bag either the whole - or a share of - £50,000.
But it could be anyone's games, as even the strongest of couples are at risk with tonight's vote off.
Who will be booted out of the villa - and who will take a step closer to the final?
*Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
