Love Island fans say Jay Younger should be banned from game due to 'health issue'

East Lothian Love Islander Jay Younger had everybody's head turning in the show's sauciest challenge yet - but for all the wrong reasons.

The challenge, which involved the contestants all giving each other lap dances, while their heart rates are monitored - allowing viewers to see which islanders are attracted to each other the most, reports The Scottish Sun. Bombshell Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu set former coupled-up man Davide's heart wild as she aimed to get their relationship back on track.

Meanwhile, Jay turned up in a cowboy hat and little else for his chance at the challenge - but fans were distracted by a blemish on his face. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted what looked to be a cold sore on Jay's lip, bringing concern for other islanders, and giving some fans the 'ick' from the local lad.

One Twitter user said: "What is that on Jay's lip? Is it a cold sore or a sun blister or something? I keep trying to ignore it but it keeps staring at me right in the face."

Another wrote: "I've been thinking there hasn't been a challenge on Love Island in ages and I think it's because Jay had a cold sore and they couldn't risk him spreading that all over the villa with all the kissing going on lol."

A third added: "Each to their own if Jay decides to kiss Paige BUT if Jay decides to kiss Paige whilst having that cold sore on his lip after producers SHOULD BE warning him not to I'll boot him off."

And more comments read: "Cold sore Jay? Talking about being a single pringle? You're 28?" A final user concluded: "Please Jay shouldn’t touch anyone with his lips #loveisland"

Love Island resumes on Wednesday June 29 at 9pm on ITV2. Episodes are available for catch-up on the ITV Hub.
