Love Island 2023 fans have been left stunned over Tom Clare 's real age, as he confirmed how old he is on the ITV2 series this week.
But many viewers say there is "no way" he's telling the truth, believing he is much older than he has claimed.
Tom, a semi-pro footballer from Barnsley, is 23 years old. The Islander revealed this, while ITV also disclosed his age as he went on the show.
But this hasn't stopped fans accusing him of lying about how old he is, believing he is older than 23.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their confusion, with many suggesting Tom was not being truthful about the information.
One viewer tweeted: "Tom cannot be the same 23 as me. Why does he look he could be one of my mates Dad’s ??"
Another fan agreed: "Sorry did Tom say he was 23? He also looks 30. Idk what him and Kai are eating, but they’re aging like milk fr."
A third viewer tweeted: "Tom ain’t 23, there’s no way," as a fourth fan asked: "How the f**k is Tom 23 ??"
The comments kept on coming too with another tweet reading: "loooooooool there’s no way tom is 23? in what world," while a fifth said: "Tom saying he’s 23!"
A sixth viewer echoed these thoughts, writing: "Tom is not 23! 33 maybe but definitely not 23."
It comes as Tom had a huge decision to make, as he was tasked with stealing a girl from another male Islander on Tuesday night.
Tom had to choose between Tanya Manhenga, Lana Jenkins, Anna-May Robey, Tanyel Revan and Olivia Hawkins.
As for the boys, Kai Fagan, Ron Hall, Will Young, Shaq Muhammad and Haris Namani were all at risk of being left single, depending on who Tom picked.
Soon it was decision time, as Tom had to stand in front of his fellow Islanders and choose a girl - and he went with Olivia.
This left Will single, and he is now at risk of being dumped at the end of the week when the recoupling airs.
Will could be saved though, as two new bombshells will enter this week.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
