Love Island viewers demanded justice for Indiyah Polack after the public chose for her to be coupled up with Ikenna Ekwonna.
This year, ITV2 decided to add a shocking twist and told contestants that the public would be responsible for their first coupling.
The hotel waitress from London became an instant hit after she was filmed looking extremely unimpressed with her pairing choice.
Ikenna - who mortified viewers with his choice of footwear - seemed satisfied with the decision and smiled for the cameras for the couple's picture, but Indiyah was standing next to him already looking weary about the entire situation.
Viewers took to social media to laugh about what they were witnessing on their screens.
"Indiyah “disappointed but not surprised” face when the *public* made the choice we all knew they were going to," one user commented.
Another added: "Loooool Indiyah is not feeling the vibe at all," while on said: "LOOOL someone save my girl Indiyah."
"Y’all did my baby Indiyah dirty," one viewer commented while a different fan posted: "nah free my girl indiyah."
Later on in the episode, the duo sat down for a chat and Ikenna admitted she was a 'tough one to crack' as she refused to disclose her 'type'.
Before the series began, Indiyah revealed she was keen to get going and get to know new people.
Indiyah said: "I have been single for some time and I feel like, for my generation of people, it’s quite hard to date without being influenced by social media and stuff like that.

"Love Island particularly is like a closed space and I think it is a great place to get to know someone one-on-one and build a real connection
Meanwhile, 23-year-od Ikwenna is a pharmaceutical salesman from Nottingham.
Ikenna had described himself as "single by choice" - but admitted it has been tough to find girls he fancies.
"I'm single by choice I would say. It’s also pretty hard to find good looking people out there who are my type and my age so Love Island will put me in a situation where there will be people like that and hopefully that will force me to settle down," he explained.
"I’m very competitive, I’m quite sporty as well which is probably where it comes from. I don’t really hold grudges so if someone steps on my toes, I’m effectively allowed to do the same"
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
