Love Island fans in for a shock as dating show unveils first recoupling

Mitchel Mehdi Catherine Agbaje Sammy Whitney Jess Harding Ella Zachariah

The first recoupling of Love Island in the villa is imminent and it's set to cause a shock amongst islanders.

Whilst relaxing by the pool, Mitchel receives a text which reads: "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling. The girls will each choose which boy they want to recouple with. The boy not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island immediately. #LeaveItToTheLadies #BroBye."

This evening, all Islanders will all be asked to stand around the firepit for the first recoupling of the series.
