Love Island star Ron was left gobsmacked on Monday night’s episode, as Lana revealed her famous ex to her fellow contestants on the show.
The ITV2 reality dating show returned with another explosive episode this week as the winter series gets well underway in sunny South Africa.
There has also been the arrival of no less than five bombshells, with one of them already exiting the villa in the first dramatic recoupling.
However, a major bombshell this week came in the former of revelations from Islanders on their past relationships before they entered the villa.
During a game of never have I ever, the Islanders quizzed each other on exes, first playing along to the question: “Never have I ever dated or got with a celebrity?”
Lana, Olivia and Zara all sipped their drinks as Olivia was first to explain that she dated someone in the ‘athletic field’.
Lana then cryptically admitted that her most recent ex-boyfriend was an actor, before Zara said: “I’ve gotten with an athlete before, a famous athlete, very famous.”
Olivia asked if anyone would be brave enough to name names, prompting Zara to fess up that she had shared a kiss with none other than Usain Bolt.
Later in the evening after the game, Ron was keen to know about Lana’s celebrity ex and as the pair sat alone he asked her: “The actor, who was that?”
Lana told him it was Hollyoaks star and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here runner-up Owen Warner.
Laughing Ron was shocked as he replied: “So basically I’m competing with someone who's just come runner-up on a massive show and who’s an actor and I work in finance, yeah, erm, sick. This is great.”
In the Beach Hut Ron said: “That was a shock, I don’t really know what to think about it...”
The moment left Love Island fans in disbelief, with many speculating the information could leave Ron pulling away from Lana amid fears of not measuring up.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "LANA DATED OWEN WARNER?! NO WAYYYYY."
A second added: "Ron knowing that Lana's ex is Owen warner and he had no right to be playing with feelings the way he did."
A third wrote: "I audibly gasped when Lana said Owen warner," as another said: "Owen Warner is Lana’s ex wtffffff my jaw dropped."
Another penned: "No wonder Ron is intimidated…Owen beats all of the men in the villa by miles in both personality and looks!"
