Love Island fans fume as Maya Jama and ITV spoil show exit minutes before dumping airs

Love Island have dumped Will and Jessie hours before the final - but it was spoiled by Maya Jama minutes before it aired.

With it less than 24 hours before one couple is crowned this year's champion by Maya Jama, another couple has been dumped from the ITV2 villa this evening. In the cruel twist, one couple found out they'd be heading straight home.

Before the vote off, there was just five couples left in the villa ahead of the final. Kai and Sanam, Will and Jessie and Lana and Ron were up for a possible exit whilst Tanya and Shaq and Samie and Tom were excluded from the public vote.

However, fans fumed when Will and Jessie were shown alongside Casey and Rosie being interviewed on After Sun, before the actual exit was even aired on TV - with fans venting their frustration on social media.

Maya had already posted a video on Instagram, which saw Jessie and Will stood in the back for After Sun, but things turned worse when they aired a clip of Maya saying she'd be chatting with dumped Islanders Will and Jessie and Casey and Rosie.

Taking to Twitter, angry viewers fumed over the mistake, as one wrote: "Ooh ITV doing one worse than Maya's Instagram as they just revealed to everyone that isn't on social media who got dumped #loveisland."

"Dumped islanders continues to show Casey, Rosie, Will & Jessie … showing who leaves before they even air it #LoveIsland," a second added, whilst a third wrote: "Lmaoooo what a blunder!! They have just revealed that Will and Jessie have been dumped in that aftersun clip #loveIsland." A fourth added: "WHY ARE THEY TELLING US WHO IS DUMPED ALREADY #loveisland."

Tonight, following an emotional reunion with their parents, the villa was disrupted with some bad news.

As they reflect on their day, their evening is soon interrupted by a text, which reads: "Can all Islanders please gather around the fire pit immediately," as the dumping looms for the group - with one couple heading home.

Kai and Sanam, Will and Jessie and Lana and Ron were at risk of leaving, after receiving votes from the other Islanders as they were dubbed the most incompatible couples on the show. The public had then been asked to vote.

A second text message revealed: "Islanders, you voted Jessie and Will, Sanam and Kai and Lana and Ron as the least compatible couples. They are all vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the Island tonight.

"However only one couple will go home and that decision is in the hands of the public."

There were sad scenes tonight as the couple were sent home, but it was not the only emotional part of the episode as Lana and Ron's parents met one another for the first time and got on really well.

Ron's dad said: "When you see them, you know it’s real, the way they look at each other you can just see."

Tanya's mum Polite and her Auntie Cynthia joined the villa alongside Shaq's sister Tahira and friend Levi, as Cynthia says: "We’ve seen you guys from the start, we’ve seen you grow, we’ve seen you fall out. We’ve seen you pick up the pieces and to me, that’s love."

Jessie's mum also heaped praise on Will, and is keen for the pair to make it to the next step: "I've watched you support her and love her, you’ve got our hearts too and her dad's ready for the two of you to get married."
