Love Island fans are already flocking to back Irish contestant Dami Hope just days before he is set to enter the famous villa.
The Dubliner is set to fly the flag in the new series of Love Island, and Ladbrokes have already reported patriotic support for the 26-year-old microbiologist.
The bookmaker initially chalked up Hope at 6/1, but following a flood of bets, he is now the 5/1 third favourite to be crowned this year’s winner.

His biggest rival to be ‘Top Boy’ is Brighton fishmonger Luca Bish who is the early frontrunner at 5/2.
Paramedic Paige Thorne is the 6/4 favourite to be ‘Top Girl’, ahead of Tasha Ghouri at 7/2, and Amber Beckford at 5/1.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Dami Hope is flying the flag for Ireland in the villa this year and given how well the Irish have done on the show in the past, punters think the Dubliner can charm his way to the top.”
