Love Island fans concerned over 'missing' Islander just days into show

Love Island fans are concerned for one Islander after they went 'missing'.

Fans have been glued to their seats after the ITV2 series returned to our screens earlier this week, with Maya Jama back as host. In the first episode, she was there to reveal not one but two twists.

She had first told the Islanders that the public had coupled them up, before revealing that a new bombshell was on his way.

However, some fans have been left concerned after noticing that one Islander hasn't been around much.

One wrote: "In all honesty yea I think medhi should go home because clearly he’s just in that villa to be looking like a furniture #LoveIsland," as a second viewer shared: "Everytime I see Medhi in the background #LoveIsland."

"Completely forgotten about Medhi #LoveIsland," a third shared, with a fourth writing: " #LoveIsland Medhi not getting a single bit of screentime." A fifth added on social media: "Medhi where are you?! #loveisland."

Ahead of his arrival, Medhi said he had been too busy for love in the past.

Speaking about his single status before entering the villa, Medhi said: "I’ve been single now for over two years. I’ve watched the show before, and my friends always say I should go on it - they say I’m made for it! So let’s see if they’re right or not.

"I’ve been busy for the last few years with work, and doing my Masters degree but now I’m done with the busy schedule, and ready to find love. I’m single at the moment because I’ve been too busy for love."

He explained that his worst date had been when a girl showed up without showering.

"The worst date I’ve ever been on was with a girl who had come from the gym. She said she had showered, but I don’t think the shower had been on for long enough. I stayed for the whole date, because that’s what a gentleman should do, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for me," he shared before listing his icks as clingy girls and childish girls.

His main focus isn't a girls' looks but instead who she is as a person.

He explained: "Looks are important but they aren’t everything, a good sense of humour and someone who is outgoing and up for an adventure is what I’m looking for. For me a picnic is very romantic. A picnic on a private, secluded beach."
