Love Island fans accuse Olivia of 'copying' Molly-Mae after spotting her 'overused' habit

Love Island viewers have accused Olivia Hawkins of ‘copying’ former show star Molly-Mae Hague after scenes on the ITV2 reality show on Wednesday evening.

Olivia, 27, elicited a mixed response from Love Island viewers as she was once again at odds with former flame Kai Fagan in the South African villa.

Despite having moved on in a new couple with Maxwell Samuda, Olivia pulled Kai for a chat to thrash out why he had not – yes, not – named her as the most untrustworthy person in the villa.

The strange scenes, which equally left ITV2 viewers at home baffled, prompted many to notice an apparent similarity between Olivia and the 2019 Love Island star Molly-Mae, who left the show with Tommy Fury.

During her stilted chat Kai in the villa garden, viewers couldn't help but notice that Olivia was repeatedly using the word ‘categorically’ as she attempted to explain her feelings.

Molly-Mae was known for similarly over-using the word, as eagle-eyed fans claimed Olivia was doing the same thing on purpose.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer penned: “'Categorically' sorry olivia, molly mae been there done that.”

A second added: “Olivia. leave molly maes 'categorically' to molly mae cos it doesn't hit the same coming from you. so maybe idk just shut up.”

A third wrote: “When Olivia said I can Categorically tell you are you trying to be molly-mae.”

While a fourth joked: “Olivia thinks she’s this year’s molly mae. you’re not even milly june.”

“Olivia tryna have her molly mae moment by saying “CATEGORICALLY, a fifth wrote.

Another added: “Why is Olivia Tryna be molly mae ‘I can categorically’ no hun you’ll never ever be her.”

The scenes came ahead of an explosive Movie Night in the villa, as the Islanders were given access to footage from Casa Amor, which exposed a number of secrets.

The iconic segment sees the Islanders watch a variety of clips from the show, which they have never been privy to and never failed to spark drama in the villa.

Earlier in the episode, Ron received a shock text message, which read: “Islanders, it’s time to get glam hit the red carpet and grab some popcorn as tonight it’s Movie Night #Blockbuster #ThrillerInTheVilla.”

A number of the couples are on thin ice at the moment, with accusations of partners being untrustworthy flying all over the place – and ITV2 viewers at home now think several will not escape Movie Night unscathed.
