A former Love Island couple have announced that they are expecting their first child together. Molly-Mae Hague has announced that she is pregnant with her long term partner, Tommy Fury.
The pair feel head over heels in love when they appeared on the ITV dating show, Love Island, in 2019. The 23 year old shared the news on Instagram with a black and white video announcing their happy news reports The Daily Mirror.
Family, friends, fans and celebrity pals have been quick to congratulate the couple on their news. Both Molly-Mae and Tommy shared the announcement video on their Instagram pages, which begins with the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director saying: "I can't wait for the adventures that we haven't even dreamed of yet" from her speech during the reality show finale.

The video then moved on to the happy couple holding Molly-Mae's baby bump and embracing each other. Paris Fury, who is married to Tommy's brother Tyson Fury, sweetly commented: "Awww I’ve watched this 20 times and just keep watching."
The world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson has recently made an offer on a Nottinghamshire pub in Retford. Current owner of the Brick and Tile, Barry Brown, said the boxer plans "to buy it for his family mainly" and suspects he has family nearby.
Molly-Mae has previously addressed her concerns about becoming a mother amid her endometriosis diagnosis, a battle which she has documented on her Instagram and YouTube over the last year. She was warned by doctors that women suffering with the long-term condition can sometimes struggle to conceive.
Molly-Mae said they have always wanted a big family, but even if they were blessed with one child amid her diagnosis she would be eternally grateful. Professional boxer Tommy, 23, admitted that he would love nothing more than to have four children with the woman of his dreams.
"I want four kids but it’s Molly’s body and she’s the one who has to go through it - but I’ll be there with her every step of the way,” Tommy told The Sun. I’m a big family man and come from a big family too and it’s something we talk about a lot.
"I don’t think it’s in the far too distant future. We’re so young but we’ve been living together for three years now - we shared a bed the night we met and then every day after that for months so it’s like we’ve been together six years."
The boxer insisted that because the pair don't drink and they aren't into partying, having children and settling down won't change much. He joked that he wasn't allowed to talk about baby names though, just in case someone "stole" their idea.
In 2020 Molly said that she wanted to be married and have children by the time she was 26. She also said that she wasn't using contraception, but that was due to the struggles of finding "a good time each day to take the pill."
She said: "I started taking it and no, it's not for me. I felt headache-y, I felt tired, I felt emotional like I was crying for no reason.
Tommy was literally like, 'What is wrong with you?' and the only thing that had changed was that I was on this pill. It was not for me. I'm living life on the edge guys!"
Molly admitted that she felt she was ready to walk down the aisle in October 2021, and dropped a not-so-subtle hint for Tommy to get ring shopping. She said on the Behind Closed Doors podcast: "I’d like a ring soon, please … at some point.
"I am still the perfect girlfriend, me and Tommy that’s like a whole other thing, we hardly knew each other back then.
"We were just getting started and now we’ve been together two and a bit years and it's been the best two and a bit years of my life with everything with my work, with my relationship. I’m just so lucky."
Earlier this year Molly-Mae released her debut memoir, entitled Becoming Molly-Mae. The Instagram influencer explained how she and Tommy wanted "to have a baby soon", but at the time they were happy with their family of cuddly toys.
She wrote: "We share goals for the future, too; we both want kids relatively soon and that is really because when you're with someone and it feels so right, the next stage you see is having kids with them.
"Still, there's no rush! For the time being, we're happy with the children we do have... all 17 of them! We call them our children, but really, they're our collection of cuddly toys; stuffed giraffes, turtles and more."
However, their collection of cuddly toys will soon be joined by their first baby. Stacey Solomon also commented on the reveal video: "congratulations this is amazing."
Fellow Love Island star Georgia Steel commented "Wow sooooo beautiful" and Amy Hart, who also appeared on Love Island, left a sweet comment revealing her delight at being pregnant at the same time as her former housemate.
Amy commented: ""Can’t wait to be texting each other at 2am [laughing emojis] so much love for you all! Xxxx." Lottie Tomlinson, who recently gave birth to her first child, also left a message of congratulations for the parents-to-be, writing: "Omg congratulations beautiful."
