Love Island contestant Luca Bish's family has reacted after the Brighton fishmonger said he'd be moving to be closer to Gemma Owen, who hails from Chester, when the series ends. The revelation was news to his family who reacted to the statement following the latest episode of the ITV2 dating show.
Luca made the comment during a conversation with his fellow Islanders about life after the show. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was also asked if she'd move to be closer to Davide Sanclimenti, who lives in Manchester.
"Are you going to move to Manchester," Andrew Le Page asked Ekin-Su during the episode that aired on Sunday, July 24.

"Could do if its works," Ekin-Su responded. "Like in as we can't plan these things, see what happens, see how busy we are."
Turning to Luca, Ekin-Su then asked: "What are you going to do, then? Move to...?"
"Yeah, I think you've known that for about three weeks," Luca responded.
"He's buzzing," Andrew pointed out before Luca joked: "Not now Ekin's moving up north."
Reacting to the news, Luca Bish's sister, who is looking after his social media accounts, wrote: "No but he fully just said he's moving up north, so now I'm on Rightmove as I will also be moving up north. How is my best friend going to leave me like that."
She added: "I've been betrayed so now I'm team red," in reference to the villa's sports day where Luca was on team blue.
Later Luca's sister asked his followers what she could do to entertain herself when Love Island is over. "Annoy Luca," one fan suggested, to which she responded: "Excuse me sir did you miss the part where he said he was MOVING up north for Gemma."
While introducing herself as from Chester when she entered the villa, Gemma's family home 'Lower Soughton Hall' is actually located in Wales, near Mold, in Flintshire, which is not far from Chester where Gemma was born.
The 42-acre property has been the Owen family home since 2001, and previously appeared in ITV's Through the Keyhole. You can read more about the £4m Grade II listed pad here.
