This is the moment Love Island's dumped stars returned to meet their families at Heathrow Airport today after nine bombshells were axed from Casa Amor.
Viewers were shocked during Friday night’s episode (February 17) as the Casa Amor Islanders got the chop from the South African villa.
In Thursday's explosive Love Island recoupling, Lydia Karakyriakou, Sammy James, Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, who exposed Casey to Claudia in dramatic scenes, Lynda Flix, Layla Al-Momani, Ryan Weekley, Kain Reed, Frankie Davey and Bayley Mummery were all dumped from the villa - with their exit scenes airing Friday.
It comes after Maya Jama flew to the villa on Wednesday to mediate the recoupling after the addition of twelve new Islanders hoping to turn the heads of those already in the villa.
But only three of the bombshells made it into the villa for good with Tanya Manhenga choosing to stun the rest of the Islanders and recouple with Martin Akinola over Shaq Muhammad.
Olivia Hawkins also decided to ditch Kai Fagan and couple up with bombshell Maxwell Samuda, but she couldn't hide her anger when she returned to see him coupled up with Sanam Harrinanan.
Fans were devastated for Lydia and Cynthia in particular, who had formed strong connections with Tom and Casey, as Cynthia even burst into tears when she realised the latter had decided to stick with Claudia.
While Lydia insisted she was "happy" for Tom and Samie to be back together, Layla was less than impressed with Will Young's behaviour in the villa, kissing her, then going back to Jessie Wynter.
As the biggest dumping ever took place, fans went wild on social media.
One person said: "Casa flopped only 3 got picked and 9 of them gone #loveisland."
"Tom made a big mistake! Lydia was lovely! #casaamor #loveisland," another gutted fan commented.
"Gonna miss Layla, Lydia, and Cynthia tho. them girls had personalities AND looks - at least one of them deserved another chance :/," a third viewer lamented.
Ahead of the recoupling, a source told The Sun: "The next Love Island recoupling is imminent and Maya will be personally overseeing proceedings.
"Filming of the recoupling will take place today and there are plenty of upsets expected. Casa Amor is one of the most disruptive and drama-filled parts of the show and producers expect this to be no different."
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
