Love Island viewers were left surprised to learn that Casa Amor was coming to an end after tuning into the episode that aired on Tuesday, July 4. The challenge is often the biggest twist of the series and sees the villa split in two.
For 2023, the girls headed to Casa Amor where they were joined by six new bombshells, while the boys have remained in the main villa where they've been getting to know six new girls. Traditionally, after some time apart, the Islanders must then decide to stick in their current couple or twist and couple up with someone new.
And it looks like the recoupling could happen sooner rather than later, as at the end of last night's episode, Jess received a text that said: "Girls, tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether you want to remain coupled up with your partner back in the villa or recouple with one of the new boys. It's time to stick or twist."

Kady could then be heard telling her fellow contestants: "Whatever happens on that side of the villa, it doesn't matter. I'm staying true to myself." It means the dramatic recoupling episode will air on Wednesday, July 5.
However, after learning Casa Amor was coming to an end, many viewers have shared they were expecting more. One ITV viewer wrote: "They made us wait 3 weeks for Casa only to end it after 3 days."
"Casa over already?" said another, "Hasn't even been a week." While a third commented: "Casa only started on Sunday????? It's over already?
And a fourth said: "Producers said let’s give them a longer episode tonight so we can get this dry Casa Amor over and done with by tomorrow."
