Love Island bosses want people to apply to enter the villa now

Love Island's 2022 series is now well underway, with just a few weeks left of this year's season.

While original contestants walked into the villa on June 6, a number of bombshells have also joined since. And we may be able to expect more newcomers before the show ends.

Contestants are often catapulted into the spotlight, even after the show ends, with many going on to work as influencers, TV stars and even CEOs of fashion brands.

ITV has today confirmed it wants members of the public to apply to enter the villa, though there are a few entry requirements. For example, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, though there is no upper age limit.

If you want to apply, you'll need to upload a number of photos of yourself (no filters), as well as a video clip introduction. You'll also need to be willing to share your relationship history, preferred methods of finding a date, and your sex life.

And you'll have write a dating profile for yourself, as well as tell producers why you'd be the perfect Islander. Applicants should also share their social media handles, presumably so producers can have a snoop and see what you're about.

If you think you've got what it takes to enter the Love Island villa, click here to apply.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub
