Love Island bosses confirm two contestants are dumped tonight following savage twist

Love Island bosses have confirmed not one but two contestants will leave the villa during the show that airs on Wednesday, January 25. The last episode ended on a cliffhanger with six Islanders left vulnerable and at risk of being dumped after the public voted to save their favourites.

Those in the bottom six are Tom Clare, Haris Namani, Kai Fagan, Tanyel Raven, Tanya Mahenga and Anna-May Robey. Their fate lies in the hands of newcomers Jessie Warner and Aaron Waters.

In a savage twist, the Australian bombshells were notified by text that they would be choosing which of their fellow cast members would be leaving the villa. While fans had suspected that two contestants might be dumped, bosses have now confirmed tonight's episode will result in a double dumping.

In a first look at the show, Jessie and Aaron can be seen debating which two Islanders out of six to send packing. In scenes set to air tonight, Jessie whispers: "Love you guys" before walking across the garden with Aaron to make their decision.

She says: "I'm so nervous". Aaron assures her: "So am I, I've got no idea, I don't even know where to start."

Aaron and Jessie struggle to make their decision as when talking about one of the boys, Jessie says: "He's like one of my best friends in here". Aaron replies: "I know, I actually like all of the guys, but you can't think like that."

Jessie says: "Ok, let's break this down" as Aaron finally asks her: "What's your decision?" Elsewhere in the episode, Aaron sets his sights on Zara and asks if she's open to getting to know him. Zara replies: "I am yeah, I think we get on really well".

"Aaron agrees: "Yeah I think so too" as Zara continues: "I don't know if I’ve told you, but on the outside you're more my type, looks wise, that I go for and what I've gone for in the past."

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
