Love Island series 10 was off to an electrifying start on Monday night as host Maya Jama entered the villa to introduce us to this year's fresh-faced batch of singles hoping to find love this summer on the ITV reality show.
And there was drama from the offset, as this year's Scottish contestant Ella Thomas from Glasgow shocked viewers when she admitted she already knew her partner Tyrique Hyde as they met "not that long ago" in London although he seemingly didn't recognise her.
This year, the show introduced a huge twist as instead of the usual format of choosing who they would like to couple up with, their fate lay in the hands of the public who got to vote ahead of the first episode airing.
At the end of the show, the "ultimate dare" came when Maya entered the villa again and revealed to the couples that any girls who were unhappy with who they had been matched with could switch things up.
Both Jess Harding and Ruchee Gurung stepped forward before the first bombshell Zachariah Noble arrived, and tonight's episode on Tuesday is set to rock the boat even further as the 25-year-old personal trainer from London has a difficult decision to make.
Whilst getting to know beautician Ruchee, 24, Zachariah receives a text which reads: “Zachariah, it’s now time for you to make your decision on which girl you’d like to couple up with. Can all Islanders gather round the fire pit. #Powermove #Gameon”
Who will Zachariah choose? And as a result, which boy will be single? You will need to tune in to see the fallout of the drama.
Meanwhile, trouble could be brewing for this years couple who have been billed early on as a strong match as Molly and Mitchel were coupled up from votes by the public but it seems fellow islander George has his eye on her. It’s a new day in the villa and business development executive George decides to pull Molly for a chat to see where her head is at.
Having told the girls last night that she has a “strong connection” with Mitchel, musical theatre performer Molly goes on to tell George which other boys she’s keen to get to know a bit better.
George admits to Molly that: “I do find you attractive, do you know what I mean? So I’d be interested to keep chatting to you.”
With George’s feelings made clear, could Molly's head be the first to be turned this series?
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX each weeknight at 9pm.
