Your weeknights are about to heat up because Love Island Australia‘s newest season is about to drop like all the bombshells who are going to wreak havoc on the villa. However, there’s one twist that’s going to make this the spiciest season in history: Hotel Amor.
For folks who are not familiar with the whole Love Island universe, it is a show where a bunch of hot singles enter a villa in search of love, duh!
However, as they pair up and find their soulmates amongst the beauty of Spain, their newfound relationships are put to the test as bombshells (AKA hot singles with a quest for love) drop in the villa, tasks and Casa Amor.
The dreaded Casa Amor is a segment of the competition where connections are really put to the test. You see, either the ladies or lads are sent to a separate villa where they will meet a bunch of bombshells who may or may not turn their heads. The OG cast of the opposite sex will stay home without any knowledge of what’s going on in ~Casa Amor~. It’s steamy, it’s heartbreaking and it’s horny.
Although it wasn’t an original part of the show, viewers from across the globe have grown to love the segment. Unfortunately, fans of the Aussie Love Island have been deprived of the scandalous concept since 2021.
But, after waiting, waiting and more waiting, it appears that the Love Island Australia bosses have heard us and decided to give us not just Casa Amor but Hotel Amor.
A FULL ON HOTEL.
What is Love Island Australia‘s Hotel Amor?
Ahead of its season premiere tonight, Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk claimed that Hotel Amor is set to “blow people away” once it rolls around this season, adding that it’s “a better idea” than the regular Casa Amor.
“So we send the [participants] away for a night in a hotel with no cameras for one night,” Monk told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“We break up their couples so they’re with other people, and it equals so much drama. But it’s very, very entertaining.”
Love Island Australia will also be the first instalment (or spin-off if you want to call it that) to feature the big, scary Hotel Amor. Honestly, they should’ve called it Pub Amor or RSL Amor to give it that extra Aussie ooomph.
Sophie Monk claims Love Island Australia 2024 is the spiciest season
Alongside the push for Hotel Amor, the showrunners have tipped this season to be the ~ spiciest ~ in history. Monk doubled down on this claim as the participants are pushed to their limits quite early in the show.
“This season is so spicy because we throw so much shit at them for their own good,” Monk shared.
“We want them to find love, but it’s best they find out if someone’s dodgy earlier. We really throw in bombs and put them under pressure, which creates great TV and love.”
I guess you could say that Love Island Australia is officially in its Pitbull era with all of these hotel, motel, Holiday Inns!
Love Island Australia 2024 premieres tonight 6pm AEDT on 9Now with new episodes from Monday to Thursday.
