Antigoni Buxton has been announced as the new contestant on Love Island. The singer-songwriter is set to enter the villa as the latest bombshell on Wednesday, June 22.
Like Gemma Owen, who is the daughter of football legend Michael Owen, Antigoni also has parents in the public eye. Antigoni's mum is a television presenter and celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, who will be familiar to Sunday Brunch viewers.
She is also a regular on GB News and has made appearances on ITV's Good Morning Britian and Lorraine, as well as BBC's Saturday Kitchen. She also hosts the RTS shows My Greek Kitchen and My Cypriot Kitchen.

Following the news that her daughter was heading into Love Island villa, Tonia took to Instagram to share a sweet message. She told her 35.5k followers: "I can not believe that my @antigoni is in the Love Island Villa, she mentioned she would be sunbathing this week I didn't think she meant in Mallorca!
"We are all so excited for you and know you will be amazing! You have always been an island girl, so I know you will fit right in!"
She added: "Hoping you all love and support my girl, I know she will make us proud! Tune in to my stories every night where I will be commentating the show, or trying to!"
Celebrities flooded the comment section offering support, including Lizzie Cundy, Rebecca Adlington and Lucy Alexander. Antigoni's arrival comes after a double dumping saw Ikenna and Amber leave the show.
Antigoni said of joining the Love Island line-up: "I've been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible. I really just want to say 'yes' to things. Why not? It'll be fun. I'm a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I've got nothing to lose!" You can read more about Antigoni, here.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
