Love Island has had a whirlwind 24 hours. The latest episode of the winter edition of the show, filmed in South Africa and presented by Maya Jama, saw original Islanders Anna-May Robey, from Swansea, and Haris Namani dumped from the villa.
Their fate was decided by newcomers Jessie Wynters and Aaron Waters. The Australian bombshells were forced to pick two contestants to be dumped after six cast members were made vulnerable by a public vote.
Then, before the dust had settled, the contestants were sent a text announcing a recoupling, where the boys got to pick who they wanted to couple up with, would be taking place. However, as the contestants gathered around the famous fire pit they were interrupted by bombshells Ellie Spence and Spencer Wilks.

In a shock twist, bosses then revealed Ellie and Spencer would be able to pick who they wanted to couple up with first, despite not yet meeting any of their co-stars. With so much drama in such a short space of time, viewers at home might be wondering where the Islanders stand now and who is coupled up with who.
Before the recoupling, the couples were Tanyel & Ron, Lana & Will, Shaq & Tanya, Zara & Tom, meanwhile Olivia and Kai were left single after Anna-May and Haris' exit and Jessie and Aaron were yet to couple up with anyone following their late arrival.
Who are the new couples?
The new couples as of Thursday, January 26 are:
Ellie and Ron
Spencer and Olivia
Shaq and Tanya
Tom and Zara
Kai and Tanyel
Will and Jessie
Aaron and Lana
