Love Island bosses treated the islanders to a special visit from singer Becky Hill and even extended the episode in her honour.
The Piece Of Me hit-maker, 28, took to the stage with backing dancers for a high energy performance by the pool that got everyone whooping and grooving.
The Brit Award winner’s presence was a welcome one for the villa inhabitants following an emotionally-charged week.
In addition to the fallout from Casa Amor, there was the arrival of 2018 Islander Adam Collard as a new bombshell and the departure of Jacques O’Neill - leaving his partner Paige Thorne and best friend Luca Bish in tears.
Some viewers were not as enthused by the musical interlude, however, and felt the extra minutes of airtime could have been filled in other ways.
“Becky Hill extended this episode for another 20 minutes I’d rather movie night or a challenge please,” wrote one.
“When #loveisland is supposed to have challenges but instead they got Becky Hill wasting our time,” grumbled a second.
Others however were loving the change-up.
i've heard there's a brand new bombshell entering the villa tonight... to sing some tunes 💃🏼 all i'm saying is you don't want to miss this 👀 #LoveIsland @loveisland @itv2 pic.twitter.com/6swTcuwnxE

“Becky hill has some voice on her,” declared one followed by a heart-eyes emoji.
“What a talented lady.”
“What a fantastic night,” enthused a second following the former Voice UK contestant’s performance.
Music guests are not new to Love Island - last year’s islanders got a visit from singer Mabel.
