Love in the Flesh viewers react to the first episode of the new BBC dating show

The brand new BBC Three dating show, Love in the Flesh, aired on Wednesday (March 24) night. The series will be airing every weeknight at 10pm on BBC Three as a group of couples who have been talking online for some time come to meet each other in real life.

As the BBC dating show aired for the first time on Thursday night, viewers reacted online to share their thoughts of the series and the cast of the series.

Love in the Flesh is hosted by former Love Island contestant, Zara McDermott. The first episode showed the point where the couples who were meeting online met in person for the first time on the greek beach house where the show is filmed.

Fans watching the show appeared to be particularly shocked by how long one couple, Jess and Kwame, in particular had been talking before meeting in real life. @hardinzepaint tweeted ‘’How can you date someone online for 5 years and not even FaceTime. That’s so mad #LoveInTheFlesh’’.

@SimmySimzx wrote ‘’5 years of talking stage and only just meeting??? What is this mess????? #LoveInTheFlesh’’. Also shocked was tweeter @_cassiereloaded, who penned ‘’Talking for 5 years ???? About what?? #LoveInTheFlesh’’.

Viewers also commented on another couple, Chibz and Shanzelle. @PassionFruitD wrote ‘’Chibz deserves a nice girl. This girl is giving typical london girl vibes. she is absolutely not interested. #LoveInTheFlesh’’. @booobiesweets wrote ‘’#LoveInTheFlesh just watching this now. But how cute is chibz. He is a good looking guy.’’

At the end of the episode, there was an insight into what viewers can expect in the next episode of the show, as Shanzelle shares with Chibz that she is interested in getting to known Kwame more. In response to this, @theyycallmesin wrote ‘’Ngl @Chibzno10_ is way better looking than Kwame so I don’t want @shazellelouisa doing anything outrageous now not all about looks but Chibz even got more bants too #LoveInTheFlesh’’.

The second episode of Love in the Flesh will air on tonight at 10 pm on BBC Three.
