'Love him already' - Watch Jefte's passionate celebration after Rangers equaliser

Rangers summer signing Jefte has won over supporters with his passionate celebration after Cyriel Dessers' stoppage-time strike against Dynamo Kyiv.

The Brazilian left-back came off the bench in the 1-1 draw at the Lublin Arena in Champions League qualifying last night.

And Jefte earned some plaudits for his impact in a more advanced role having replaced Scott Wright at the break.

However, it was Jefte's celebration after the equaliser that really endeared him to the Ibrox support as he showed how much the strike meant.

After Dessers slotted home and wheeled away towards the travelling Rangers support, Jefte simply turned to look toward the bench and then wildly started pumping his fists.

Ridvan Yilmaz then joins him to celebrate the huge goal to keep the tie in the balance ahead of the second leg at Hampden next week.

Jefte's passionate celebration can be spotted at the bottom of the picture on the Premier Sports broadcast.

Commenting on the clip on social media, one fan wrote: "I love him already."

Another commented: "That's exactly what you want to see a player showing how much it means when we score."

And a third joked: "Celebrated like this in the living room while my 2-year-old was dosing off. Homeless now"

Jefte was involved in the build-up for the late goal too as Rangers played from outside their own box to score in a sweeping six-man move.

James Tavernier had exchanged passes with Kieran Dowell before lofting towards Dessers to knock down for Tom Lawrence. The former Man Utd midfielder played out to Jefte who spread a pass to the right where Vaclav Cerny controlled and crossed for Dessers to apply the finishing touch.
