The Flower Mound native consistently showed a deep commitment to the team, its fans and the greater Boston community. He stayed with the Celtics through highs and lows over the course of nine seasons, practically embodying the spirit of loyalty and dedication.
Throughout his tenure with the Celtics, Smart played a crucial role in the team’s success. His impactful performances in key moments, his leadership and his willingness to do whatever it takes to win have contributed to the Celtics’ achievements and deep playoff runs.
