It’s not often an entire stadium gets faked out, but that’s exactly what Louisville did in Charlottesville on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals, who are without starting quarterback Malik Cunningham due to an injury, were struggling to gain any ground on the Virginia Cavaliers in the first half of an ACC matchup.
Facing 4th-and-2 on the Virginia 44-yard line, Louisville decided to go for it down 10-3. Everyone in Scott Stadium cheered as it looked the Cavalier defense brought the runner down well short of the line to gain, all while backup QB Brock Domann scampered untouched 44 yards for the touchdown and the tie.
Here is another view of Domann's touchdown. Watch how much Virginia bites on the fake, thinking Louisville was just trying to get a short-yardage conversion. So Domann had nothing but green in front of him. pic.twitter.com/4eGlooS4wp

Louisville, which trailed 10-0 after one quarter, took a 13-10 lead behind Domann’s long run and the Cards’ 216 yards of total offense in the second quarter.
