Louisiana Deputy Charged with Rape Was Re-Hired by One Sheriff's Office After Being Fired from Another for Misconduct

A Louisiana police officer, who was previously fired for "conduct unbecoming," was arrested on Wednesday and charged with allegedly raping two minors.

Nicholas LoCicero started his law enforcement career with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office but left to join the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. The office later fired him because of his unsatisfactory work performance, according to WAFB, and he was re-hired at the EBR Sheriff's Office.
