Louise Thompson has revealed she's gained weight after taking antidepressants as she continues to recover from the traumatic birth of her son.
The mum-of-one, 32, has been battling Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since her labour with Leo in November during which she said she "danced with death twice".
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the former Made in Chelsea star showed off her figure after admitting the antidepressants she'd recently been prescribed had increased her appetite.
Alongside a picture of herself in which she sports Calvin Klein underwear, she wrote: 'I've put on some weight over the past two months.
"When you take steroids you might put on weight because your appetite increases. This is also the case for a couple of the anti- depressants I've been on (with the exception of Escitalopram).
"The one I'm currently taking definitely makes me more hungry, especially when I feel surges of serotonin It's like I immediately crave sugar and run to the fridge."
Louise pointed out it wasn't her medication causing her to gain weight - but the fact she'd been eating more.
She explained: "A lot of people think that you 'miraculously' put on weight when you consume medication and like to blame the medication itself for weight gain, when in fact, it is more than likely that you're eating more calories than usual…or adopting poor lifestyle choices."
Summing up her news, Louise conceded she hadn't "actually given a s*** because I've had much more important things going on, but I don't want to keep going over by 700 calories a day or I could put on 10kg of fat by Christmas which when you're my height is quite a big deal."
After her post she shared an adorable picture of little Leo looking very dapper in a grey hoody with matching striped trousers.
She captioned the snap: "On another note, how cute does Leo look in the outfit I popped him in this morning?"
Louise revealed she secretly gave birth back in December, but had been away from social media as she and her baby battled a series of terrifying complications.
"5 weeks ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Leo-Hunter Libbey weighing in at 7lbs," she shared.
"Unfortunately it wasn’t the easiest start for either of us. One ended up in NICU and the other ended up in ICU.
"Whilst Leo made a fairly quick recovery, I have been recovering in hospital for a month with various serious complications."
Unfortunately, Louise has since been in and out of hospital where she continues to be treated for PTSD and post-natal anxiety.
