Louise Thompson praises fiance Ryan from hospital as he attends first therapy session

Louise Thompson paid tribute to her fiance from hospital on Thursday, as Ryan Libbey attended his first therapy session in the wake of her health battle.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, told her 1.4million Instagram followers how proud she was of her future husband for taking the step for his mental wellbeing, as she FaceTimed him bathing their young child at home.

Mum-of-one Louise has documented her ongoing battle with postnatal depression and PTSD since the birth of their son, Leo-Hunter, in November last year.

Earlier this week, it was revealed the reality TV star was recovering after returning back to hospital - with her team sharing the news on Instagram.

Her admission to hospital comes just days after Louise penned a lengthy post about suffering from a 'weird form of dementia' as she explained her memory loss struggles.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, the fitness-loving star revealed brother Sam Thompson had popped into hospital to visit her as she continues to receives treatment.

"A few hours of dreamy distraction," Louise captioned a snap of Sam on a chair in the medical facility. "Family is the greatest privilege."

The Jump star then went on to share a screenshot of a FaceTime call with husband-to-be Ryan as he bathed baby Leo at home.

"So proud of this guy (dad award of the year) heading to his first therapy session this evening," Louise proudly told her followers.

Louise's sweet tribute to Ryan online comes just hours after the dad-of-one broke his Instagram silence following his fiancee's hospital admission.

The personal trainer, 31, firstly posted a brief statement as he thanked his followers for their support on Thursday morning.

"Thank you to the people who have messaged me today sending well wishes to myself and Louise," he wrote.

"I'll update when I can. Thank you again."

Shortly after releasing the message, Ryan shared a sweet photo of the couple's baby son sporting a bright blue knitted jumper.

She recently told her followers that her fiancé Ryan Libbey also admitted he's been suffering PTSD from the birth and the journey afterwards.

The engaged couple welcomed their first "little miracle baby" together into the world last year, naming the tot Leo-Hunter Libbey, but their son's arrival saw mother and baby "dancing with death" following a dramatic labour.

Despite giving birth in November, Louise, 31, very almost didn't make it home for Christmas - after "various serious complications" left her confined to a wheelchair and recovering in hospital for a month post-birth.

The star kept the arrival of her first born private for five weeks, as she experienced things that acted as a "stark reminder of how short and sacred life really is."

Doctors had to work "through the night" to save the star's life last month - with Louise later admitting she doesn't know if she would be alive without the NHS.

Last week, Louise penned a lengthy post about suffering from a 'weird form of dementia' and explained how she's completely forgotten things from certain parts of her life.

"I’m at a weird stage now where I’m blocking everything out," she said. "Maybe I said that way back at the beginning? I can’t actually remember much because I’m still trying to protect myself from the pain. I don’t want to re-read.

"This condition feels very repetitive. Finally it DOES feel like everything happened a long time ago but it also feels like it happened to someone else and not me. I kind of feel like I’ve erased my entire past and started life as a totally new person.

"A sometimes sick person. People tell me how far I’ve come, but I can’t remember how far. I can remember a weird amount of things from my childhood - sensory things will remind me of the strangest memories from way back when I was 5-15, but then I’ve sort of erased everything between then and now."
