Louise Thompson says she doesn't 'want to leave the house' after enduring 'hard' days amid her battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The Made in Chelsea star, 31, almost died twice following the birth of her and partner Ryan Libbey’s first child, Leo-Hunter, in November.
Louise suffered serious complications during labour and afterwards was confined to a wheelchair while she recovered in hospital.
The fitness influencer has bravely shared her mental health journey since the traumatic birth and said she’s been suffering from depressive episodes and PTSD.
Louise took to Instagram to update her followers on her wellbeing and said she’s been through “a hard few days” as she posted pictures of beautiful floral arrangements from her gorgeous home.
“Gosh it’s been a hard few days, but we’re still here and we’re still putting one foot in front of the other not giving up hope for a better and brighter future…” she began.
“Mental health is so strange because it’s invisible, so only words can make sense of it to others,” Louise added.
Despite feeling low, she reflected on the positives, and said she’d enjoyed a “few beautiful hours” including bath time with her son Leo, and “a big roast chicken for dinner”.
But she’s aware that while she’s “pushing for more normality”, it feels “really, really hard”.
“Right now I don’t even want to leave the house. I haven’t actually worn makeup or snazzy clothes for a while (very unlike me),” she confessed.
Instead, Louise said she wanted to upload pictures of the flowers in her home, as it’s bringing her some well-earned peace.
“I thought I’d post some pictures of some of the beautiful flowers that I’ve received or bought and have enjoyed arranging. One of my favourite past times,” she shared.

The former reality star recently revealed her struggles with panic attacks and candidly shared she doesn’t feel “like myself” after almost dying in hospital.
“I can only write when I am not having a depressive panic episode and luckily right now I am not,” Louise wrote in a post earlier this month.
“My panic episodes can last hours or days and are totally unpredictable. When I'm having one I can't function, I can't look after myself, let alone anyone else around me,” she explained, as she said the attacks make her feel like she’s “going crazy”.
