Louise and Jamie Redknapp have reunited - albeit virtually - in order to celebrate their eldest son's birthday. Charley Redknapp is all grown up as he celebrates his 18th birthday today (Wednesday, July 27).
The former couple both took to their individual social media page to wish their boy a happy birthday, with both sharing a bunch of different snaps from over the years.
Proud mum Louise, who shot to fame as part of girl group Eternal, gushed about "superstar" son who she also said was her "best friend". She started by posting a stunning snap of the pair dressed to impress before adding sweet photos of the pair together from when he was a baby to now.

"To my big boy @charley_redkanpp I can’t put into words how much I love you and how proud I am of you," she penned to her hundreds of thousands of followers before sharing news of her son's impending big move. "I can’t believe this time 18 years ago you came into my world, your(sic) my best friend, my rock and have been right by my side since the day you were born you mean the world to me...
"And I’ll be there to for you in this next chapter in life driving you mad being over protective and probably jumping on a plane every weekend to Arizona." Louise added: "Enjoy your day and night, I’ll allow you to make a mess in the kitchen today… just this once!" She ended the post: "My super star! Happy 18th Birthday Chaz. Love Mum."
Former footballer turned TV star Jamie followed suit and shared a string of images of Charley as well as snaps of them together over the years. "My big boy Charley is 18 today," he started his post.
"I’m so proud of you mate and the man you’ve turned into. You are Incredibly charming, funny, clever, kind and a superb athlete. Your next step in the [US] will be amazing and I can’t wait to watch you every step of the way. I love you so much. Your Dad."
Both posts were quickly flooded with birthday wishes for Charley and fellow mums were also sharing in Louise's feelings about her son heading off to start a new chapter in his life. @v.londonvogue said: "Cannot beat a overprocted(sic) mum happy birthday to yr lovely son."
@fenella44 shared: "My son went off to Uni in the USA nearly 4 years ago now and I’ve been out to see him just for a day before! Can’t keep a mum away." @ringrose_1974 echoed: "Happy 18th to your son! The worry never stops! My eldest boy turned 18 this year as well, so hard to let go - he’s going to the US next year to play golf, I’m not sure my [heart] will take it!"
And others couldn't help but point out Charley's striking resemblance to his mum. @eimsg.ob05 said: "Gorgeous he's so the cut of you." @barriegmakeup wrote: "He the double of you Louise."
Jamie and Louise were married for 19 years before their split in 2017. As well as Charley, Louise and Jamie also share 13-year-old son Beau. Jamie has since remarried and shares baby son with Swedish model Frida Andersson.
