Music manager and former X-Factor judge Louis Walsh has claimed that Bono and crew would have been too difficult and demanding for him to manage.
In an interview with the Sunday World, he revealed: "U2 would have been too difficult and too demanding. Paul McGuinness was the best man for them."
The music guru, who has managed the likes of Johnny Logan, Boyzone, Jedward and Westlife, also revealed that he may well "get involved" in managing a future Irish Eurovision act. He said: "If I got the right song and the right artist I’d definitely get involved. It’s getting both that is the key."
