Lotus has been going through a major transformation, but it hasn't forgotten what made the brand famous in the first place. The British sports-car specialist is preparing a new mid-engined model that will combine a V6 or V8 with hybrid technology, and it's targeting more than 1,000 horsepower without letting the car balloon in weight (too much).
