It only took three numbers for one Kildare Lotto player to win a four-figure, impressive cash sum.
The lucky winner smashed unbelievable odds to win with just a €5 bet.
The punter picked the three numbers in their local BoyleSports shop on Tuesday evening at odds of 1,500/1.
These all-important numbers were 1, 17 and 42 which all rolled out in the draw against unbelievable odds of 1,500/1.
The Kildare champion went back to the shop to pick up a handy cash sum of €7,505.
A spokeswoman for BoyleSports congratulated the plucky Lotto winner.
She said: “We must send huge congratulations to our Kildare customer who only required a small €5 investment to take us for €7,500.
"We wish our client the best of luck with their winnings and we hope they enjoy the extra cash.”
