One lucky EuroMillions player became Ireland’s latest millionaire on Friday night after scooping the top prize in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.
A National Lottery ticket holder in Co. Tipperary will be kicking off their weekend in celebration.
The special raffle event guarantees to make four brand new millionaires in Ireland over the month of August, with the winning quick pick ticket worth €1 million being won by a Tipp player who purchased their ticket online or through the National Lottery App.

Typically, in every single EuroMillions draw, ten players in Ireland win €5,000 on the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’.
In last night’s draw, an additional €1 million was added to the special raffle draw, and among those ten winners of €5,000, one won an additional €1 million.

It was a big night for Irish winners in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, which saw over 55,000 players win prizes.
Among those prize winners was another Dublin player who scooped the top prize of €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Tesco store in Liffey Valley in Clondalkin on the day of the draw.
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw, which are worth a cool €500,000 to one Dublin player, are 03, 10, 15, 34, 43.
A National Lottery spokesperson said, “What a night it was for the Irish in last night’s EuroMillions draw. Somebody in Co.

“We are asking all our online players to check their National Lottery accounts and tickets very carefully today as they will have received a notification and an email to inform them of their prize. Additionally, we are also asking our Dublin players to check their tickets to see if they are the winners of the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize winner of last night’s draw. Both players in Tipperary and Dublin should contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.”
There was no winner of the €54,932,236 jackpot on offer, which now rolls to a massive €65 million next Tuesday 16th of August.
