Lottie Ryan says Ronan Keating won't like being called grandad after son Jack welcomes first child

Radio presenter Lottie Ryan doesn’t think Ronan Keating will like being referred to as “Grandad” at the age of 46.

The Boyzone frontman’s son Jack made the surprise birth announcement on his Instagram account on Thursday.

Ronan posted a heart emoji and commented: “Little cutie.”

The former Love Island contestant, who had a baby girl, confusingly claimed to be single recently and confessed to using a dating app.

But speaking on RTE’s 2fm yesterday, Lottie said: “I can’t imagine that Ronan Keating will be happy being called Grandad. My mother Morah is slightly older than that and we call her Momo.”

Clontarf-born Lottie has previously told rollercoaster.ie that Morah loves being a grandmother to her little son, Wolf, but she doesn’t like being called Granny.

She added: “I tell you one thing – we’re not allowed to use that word. She doesn’t want to be called Granny or Nana. The word she has come up with is Momo.

“If he starts to say Granny, I’m not going to tell him to stop because I think that’s hilarious.

“When people say Granny, you see the look of shock in her eyes.”

Jack’s announcement makes Ronan the second Boyzone member to become a grandfather after Mikey Graham.
