Lottie Moss has revealed she took Ozempic but says she would rather "die" than use it again.
The 26-year-old model suffered a seizure and was rushed to the hospital after taking a high dosage of the weight loss drug for two weeks, which left her severely ill.
Speaking out to warn others, Moss shared her experience, emphasising the importance of knowing "the small things I wish I’d known before," such as the correct dosage based on body size.
On her podcast, Dream On with Lottie Moss, the model opened up about turning to Ozempic after feeling unhappy with her weight.
Moss admitted that a friend helped her obtain the drug, explaining: "It was below board, from a doctor, but it wasn't like you go into a doctor's office and he prescribes it for you, takes your blood pressure, and takes tests, which is what you need when you go on something like Ozempic.”
She cautioned that the medication is intended for individuals with a much higher body weight and branded her choice to go on it as "the worst decision I ever made.".
Moss continued: “At the end of the day it is a medication, it is dangerous and really meant for weight loss of people of a very large size.
“When I was taking it, the amount that I was taking was meant for people who are 100 kilos and over and I'm in the 50s range.”
She went on to brand her choice to go on it as "the worst decision I ever made."
Issuing a warning, the influencer added: “Please, if you're thinking of taking it, do not take it, it's so not worth it."
At her lowest, she weighed just over eight stone, losing seven kilos in only a couple of weeks.
As a result of taking the drug, the Celebs Go Dating star revealed how she was left unable to eat or drink, which caused a seizure from severe dehydration.
She described her hands and face "clenching up" during the episode. The model, who is the half-sister of Kate Moss, declared she would "rather die" than use Ozempic again.
The health scare follows the former MIC star’s previous revelations about her struggles with addiction and mental health.
Earlier this year, she expressed her desire to go sober and admitted that she sometimes didn’t "recognise" the person she had become.
She shared in January: "I'm five days sober today, and I feel really happy about it. I'm already starting to feel better, but my sleep - I don't know if anyone else has got this when they're newly sober - but my sleep patterns...
“Like yesterday, I went to sleep at 9 o' clock, did a face mask, got into bed, read for a little bit.”
She added: “I was on a path where I was destroying all of my relationships with work and my friends. Now, I'm slowly re-building all of these things up and the thought of it is very exciting to me.”
