In his pre-draft media availability, Memphis center Jalen Duren refused to say whether or not he worked out for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Duren said that he’d rather not list off the teams he’s worked out and met with due to not knowing if he has permission to do so.
Duren is projected to be a first-round pick in the lottery. If the Thunder were to select him, it will likely need to happen at No. 12.
In his lone college season at Memphis, Duren averaged 12 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks on 59.7 percent shooting in 29 games.
The 2022 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 23.
