Lottery players urged to check tickets as eight winners are yet to claim £1m

The National Lottery are urging players to double check their tickets, as it was revealed that eight winner have yet to claim their life-changing £1m prize.

Friday's EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker event saw 100 winners, with 24 UK players included. Along with the usual UK Millionaire Maker winner, that meant a total of 25 UK players instantly became £1m richer.

Since Friday night’s special draw, 17 UK players have claimed their prize, however, the remaining eight £1m winners are being urged to check their tickets and come forward to claim their prize before it's too late - The Mirror reports.
