Losses widen at Mark Stott-owned Stockport County despite turnover rise

Mark Stott Stockport County

Losses increased by £2m at promotion-chasing Stockport County during their latest financial year despite a rise in turnover.

The National League club have posted group operating losses of £2.6m for the 12 months to the end of June 2021, compared to losses of £600,000 during the prior 12 months.

However The Hatters reported a rise in turnover from £1.4m to £2.1m over the same period.
