A Black Los Angeles woman who posts on TikTok as Lex (@famousslex) said in a video that she was filming content inside an Albertsons store when an employee questioned what she was doing. Lex said she was standing near a “Meal prep made easy” display in a black Adidas T-shirt and black track pants, holding a phone and talking through camera angles.
The first TikTok video has drawn about 1.1 million views, 102,500 likes, and almost 1,300 comments. In that clip, Lex said she was not bothering anyone. An older female employee in a grey shirt and black apron stood nearby and, Lex said, commented on the filming.
