Los Angeles organisers for the 2028 Olympic Games are working closely with US authorities to prevent a repeat of the visa complications and entry denials currently affecting the football World Cup, which the US is co-hosting.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Kirsty Coventry confirmed these efforts on Wednesday.
