Lorraine Kelly 's mum has been rushed to hospital but she has assured fans that she is in "safe hands".
The 62-year-old TV host took to social media to praise the NHS staff at University Hospital Monklands as they looked after Lorraine's mum, Anne Kelly, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday.
Anne is still living in East Kilbride, where Lorraine grew up, and the Scottish TV star was quick to pay thanks to the doctor that helped out during the medical emergency.
