Lorraine Kelly has hit back at claims she is heading to the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here jungle this year as there's 'no way on god's green earth' that she will 'eat a kangaroo's bum hole'.
The 62-year-old recently denied rumours she would be joining the Strictly Come Dancing, saying there’s "more chance" of her appearing on Love Island. But, after bookies speculated the Scots presenter would be heading to Australia this winter into the Celeb jungle, Lorraine clapped back saying it is absolutely not true.
Taking to Twitter, she retweeted an article and said: "FFS - again another terrific show to watch but there’s no way on God’s green earth I’m eating a kangaroos bum hole in front of @antanddec (or indeed anyone - or alone - just no!)."
I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here will return to the Australian jungle this year, ITV has confirmed. The long-running reality TV show has been coming from Gwrych Castle in Wales due to coronavirus restrictions, but the crew and contestants are now heading back down under for the 2022 series.
Typically when in the jungle, celebs have to take part in Bushtucker trials which mean tucking into various different gross things... as per Lorraine's reference to kangaroo's buttocks.
Bookies have slashed the odds on her taking on 'gruesome' trials andthe odds tighten to 10-1 at William Hill.
The hit show is hosted by presenting duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Emmerdale actor Danny Miller was crowned king of the castle in the latest season, while the last celebrity to win the show in the Australian jungle was Jacqueline Jossa in 2019.
The 2022 series will return in the autumn but ITV are yet to announce a release date.
