Lorraine Kelly slams unnatural ageing like Madonna and shuns 'boiled egg' look

Lorraine Kelly has vowed to age naturally as she discussed  celebs who have gone "too far" with surgery and enhancements.

The ITV presenter, 63, has said she is avoiding nips and tucks as she doesn't want to look like a "boiled egg" and has opted to embrace her natural looks.

Lorraine, who is a proud mum to daughter Rosie, 28, is embracing her age and joked that her deteriorating eyesight just means you "can't see yourself close up".

However, the TV presenter also insisted that she likes her signs of ageing as she added it's "the way my face is supposed to be".

Lorraine, who recently said she was 'sad' over Prince William and Harry's relationship, explained: "I don't mind that I've got wrinkles, or that I have signs of ageing, because it's the way my face is supposed to be.

"Of course, I want to look as good as I can but I don't want to look like a boiled egg and as though I have no features!"

The TV star took a swipe at Madonna, as she praised her career but said she no longer looks "natural".

She added to Closer magazine: "God love Madonna, the things she's done for the LGBT community are fantastic, she's a smasher and I love her music. But, you can't see her features anymore, it makes no sense to me, she used to look so natural."

Lorraine, who recently admitted fears she 'failed' over secret heartache with her husband, also remarked how people "go too far" and "ruin themselves" with nips and tucks.

But, she insisted: "If someone has Botox and it gives them a sense of confidence, then that's great, but do your homework."

In October, Lorraine reacted to Madonna's video of her throwing pants into a bin – as she was accused of queer-bating.

As the clip was aired on her show, Lorraine asked: "Is that actually Madonna? I don't recognise her, honestly what has she done? She was so beautiful. Why, why, do women do this to themselves?

"She doesn't look as if she... a boiled egg! She doesn't look like she's got any features."

Madonna, 64, has consistently revamped her image over her 40-year long career. But, recent Instagram photos of the Like A Virgin singer have caused a stir with many asking if she has gone under the knife.

The singer hasn't discussed if she has had surgery but said in 2012: "I am certainly not against plastic surgery.

"However, I am absolutely against having to discuss it."

Recently, the singer begged trolls to "stop bullying" her after she posted a string of raunchy photos and videos on her Instagram – which have seen her licking water out of a dog bowl, posing topless and pulling strange faces while showing off her silver teeth caps.

Followers had been urging the Material Girl singer to "stop posting these weird reels", with other people labelling the clips "embarrassing & disturbing".

But she hit back as she posted a photo with the words "Stop bullying Madonna for enjoying her life," written on top.

Madonna recently reignited her feud with 50 Cent after he called her a "grandmda".

50 Cent — who's real name Curtis James Jackson III — reposted an image of an article about Madonna's video and wrote: ''I told y’all grandma was on bulls**! like a virgin at 64. LOL,'' before hashtagging his own alcohol brands.
