Lorraine Kelly shares her weight loss tips after dropping two dress sizes

ITV's Lorraine Kelly has taken to Instagram to celebrate losing one and a half stone.

The TV presenter has been working hard with WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, to reach her goal.

The 62-year-old shared that during lockdown she went from a size 10 to a 14 which impacted her confidence and caused her to miss events, Wales Online reports.

The presenter has been doing a terrific job ever since, however, and now says that she feels she is "healthier and happier" in her recent post.

She has said that her weight loss isn't a result of cutting things out completely, and instead has come as she becomes more aware and mindful of what she eats.

Lorraine told the Mirror she needed "a bit of help" in February, so signed up to WW.

She has now met the goal that she set, telling her 494k followers: "GOAL REACHED! Lost one and a half stone!Feel healthier and happier Thank you @ww.uk and @wwsuzystirfry."

Celebrity Ambassador Coach Suzy Stirlin also shared the news on Instagram, telling her thousands of followers: "oweeee! What a day! Please join me in congratulating @lorrainekellysmith for getting to Goal and reaching WW GOLD STATUS!!!

"Lorraine has dropped 21lb resulting in two dress sizes from a size 14 to a comfortable 10. I think you’ll all agree with me that she looks amazing.

"@ww.uk and I couldn’t be prouder of how hard Lorraine has worked and how dedicated to the plan she has been. Her efforts really have paid off and her smile says it all. Well done Lorraine."

Speaking to OK! Magazine about her journey, Lorraine explained: "It’s not about cutting things out completely, but with the Weight Watcher points you get each day, it just makes you more aware of what you’re eating."
