Lorraine Kelly questions woman's 'pyjama' outfit at Royal Ascot

Lorraine Kelly was back on our screens for her self-titled daytime show on Friday.

The week's final instalment of the daytime TV programme saw the 62-year-old host joined by regular guest and fashion advisor Mark Heyes. Mark came live from the fourth day of the Royal Ascot in Windsor.

Dressed to the nines and even wearing a top hat, Mark shared a number of looks people could wear at such events, with most of them coming from high street and online retailers.

He told Lorraine, and viewers, that suits were a huge trend at this year's event, with Kate Middleton wearing a pink one on Friday. He then introduced a model wearing a more affordable white suit. Mark then told Lorraine he was about to show her something more "controversial".

He said: "I want your opinion because I know that sometimes you can think these look a bit pyjama-y, [but] I think this is gorgeous". The model wore a pale pink co-ord blouse and trouser set with embroidered sequin detail.

Lorraine said: "It's very beautiful... it's going to be lovely and comfy, but she... you know. You're wearing pyjamas".

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and the ITV Hub
