Lorraine Kelly was absent from her ITV show again this morning after being sent home by bosses on Wednesday.
The 63-year-old TV presenter was forced to drop her hosting duties after suddenly falling ill when the show went on air.
The much-loved TV star confirmed she was not going to be on her show yesterday morning minutes before she was due on air with colleague Ranvir Singh being called in to replace her.
Ravir stepped in for her co-star again on Thursday when Lorraine was said to be still 'recovering' from her illness.
While Lorraine will be nowhere to be seen at the ITV studios this morning, Ranvir will be in the hot seat again.
Lorraine was due to host her ITV show of the same name but Good Morning Britain hosts Kate Garraway and Ed Balls confirmed she was sent home.
They said it was the first time that Lorraine had missed a show because she was ill.
Following Kate and Ed's announcement, Lorraine took to Twitter to confirm she was sick before 'suddenly being attacked' by an unknown illness.
Lorraine confirmed she was unwell with a 'hideous' bug and was gutted to miss interviewing Adam Lambert.
"When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you are suddenly attacked by a hideous bug and were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert THAT! Beyond disappointed but imagine if I had infected him."
When the show started, Ranvir was in Lorraine's seat and confirmed she rushed into work to help ITV bosses out.
She revealed to Kate and Ed: "I got a call from the editor at 7.18 and I was on the train at 7.30," before she continued to wish Lorraine well.
Lorraine's sudden illness came just few weeks after she nearly missed her show for the first time ever after an alarm clock blunder.
Explaining what happened on Twitter at the time, she wrote at two in the morning: "So this is a first. Woke up - convinced I’d slept in - super fast shower - threw on clothes and then looked at time properly….."
Later, she gave fans an update: "So after getting up early - I’ve managed for the FIRST time to sleep in - YIKES !!!!"
Having made it to her show, she explained: "I don't know what happened to me. I woke up at two o'clock in the morning but I thought I was late. Maybe I need glasses. But I got up, got ready and wondered whilst all the clocks were at 2.
"I thought something was wrong with the clocks. I must have just been in a really deep sleep and then started panicking."
